Educational Coaching & Consulting
Are you interested in supporting the ongoing development of educators and instructional leaders in your organization? Laura has over 20 years of experience working collaboratively and responsively with organizations to design rigorous and engaging curriculum, develop novel assessment and instructional tools, and facilitate interdisciplinary teams of educators to improve student learning. The goal? To ensure that all students have access to high-quality, engaging instruction that allows them to excel.
A Coaching Partnership: What it is, what it isn't.
Laura's goal is to harness the collective wisdom and experience of her partners in order to help them achieve their goals. As a result, she helps her partners clarify their needs and their goals at the start of their work together; then, they explore what structures and tools will be most useful to achieve those goals. While she will draw from her toolkit, existing research, and her experiences, Laura will never come in and tell you or your teachers what needs to be changed. She knows that you are the expert of your unique context; her job is to ask the right questions and help you think through the best path forward.
